Tim Costello wins at Henfold Hill
A report from the LVRC A/B race at Henfold Hill today.
60 miles of an undulating circuit. Lots of little attacks but nothing stuck until Steve Skuse and a Dulwich Paragon chap go away with about 3 laps to go. I managed to slide off the front of the bunch with just under 2 laps to go. They had quite a big lead so I had to work hard to get across. Once there I realised that the Dulwich guy was nearly on his last legs and Steve was quite tired too. I knew that if we could stay away I could win so I did most of the work for a lap then eased off. We still had about 30 seconds by the finish. I jumped as hard as I could up the finishing hill to have time to wave my arms about.
After changing I went to get my bike and found the front tyre had punctured ... that was close!
I owe my success to Better You Magnesium Oil
